September Design Reveal: Big Sweater, Tiny Patience 🐱🍂
September’s here. I hate fall so much (don’t @ me) but I LOVED creating this design for you!
The themes you voted for were: sweater weather + farmers market + feral girl fall.
I’ll tell you what, that combination really stretched my illustration skills! But I’m obsessed with the final result. Everything came together as a bold, cartoony mashup of fall leaves, cozy market vibes, and a done-with-it cat.
Our hero is a pissed off kitty rocking a BIG SWEATER, TINY PATIENCE fit. Armed with coffee in one paw and a reusable tote in the other, this feral friend is a portrait of you (and also me) standing in line at the local farmers market.
As usual, I leaned into a punchy color palette (I can’t help it): juicy orange pumpkins, golden ochre leaves, and a hot pink sweater (handknit, obviously). The greeting card (which I print myself in my home studio) looks SO GOOD.
