Hi, I'm Christine!

Hi, I’m Christine! 

 

I am a romance-book-editor-turned-designer-and-illustrator from Cleveland, Ohio, US.

 

I specialize in bold surface design, specifically illustrative lettering and pattern design for vibrant apparel, accessories, and home decor products.

 

I’m inspired by traditional American style tattooing, midcentury children’s illustration, vintage textiles, and pop punk music.

 

I create my work digitally through a combination of Procreate for iPad, Adobe Creative Suite, and yelling. 

 

My surface designs are like my surfaces at home: colorful, organized chaos. Delightfully cluttered. Maximalist. I don’t do white space; if there’s a hole, I fill it.

 

I work with rad brands and cool businesses who aren’t afraid of taking risks with loud colors, noisy visuals, and laughing out loud.
