I designed this retro-inspired strawberry collection for people who love vintage florals and weird (dare I say, “ugly”?) color palettes.
The collection combines hand-drawn strawberries, tiny flowers, leafy vines, textured blenders, and a novelty strawberry print built from miniature floral motifs. I leaned into a warm mustard, cream, beige, and chocolate brown palette that feels somewhere between a 1970s kitchen curtain, a thrifted quilt, and the cutest farmers market you’ve ever visited.
When I’m building a pattern collection, I like to include a mix of hero prints, secondary prints, and versatile blenders so the designs can work together across fabric, quilting cotton, wallpaper, stationery, gift wrap, and home decor products.
